TONY grew up in the City of Angels. Whether he’s singing, playing bass or keys, the ‘groove’ is just in his blood. Tony’s first stop in his musical trek was with his cousin, Seattle’s own Antowiane Richardson and his a cappella group The Main Attraction. In 1991, Tony became a member of Seattle reggae band The Groove, and later joined Steve Munger’s band Mother’s Friends (featuring guitarist Dave Broyles). After recording a few CD’s with these fine players, Tony eventually found his way to the Kitchen. Life is Good!

EVERETT, a native of Harlem, picked up the sticks at age 8, and they’ve never left his hands since. The Head Chef of Bump Kitchen, Everett has shared his powerful musical talent with many fabulous artists. His chops got him voted “Drummer of the Millennium 2000″ by the Tacoma Blues Society. Everett’s travels around the country have brought him to the stage and studios of many musical legends, all part of gathering the recipe to make Bump Kitchen cook!

MARK has been playing music for as long as he or anyone else can remember. From bigbands to jazz combos to heavy metal to pop to classical to new age, Mark has done it all. He has even written several scores for films! HOWEVER….there has always been something at his core that he has nurtured and shared with all that are willing to listen: THE FUNK! Are you next?

DAVID is a Washington native, making his home in Olympia. He is a veteran northwest musician having played with numerous bands for the past 30 years, including Sweatband, Reunion, and Mother’s Friends (with Tony Harper on vocals). He’s played on a variety of film and video soundtracks, including the film “It’ll Be Better Tomorrow” with Robert Downey, Jr narrating. An avid funkster, he is very excited to be adding his special blend of groove ingredients to the Bump Kitchen recipe!

JOE began his musical journey playing guitar but eventually he picked up the bass and realized his destiny. Mr. Bevens has played with hard hitters such as Mike Japp, and Northwest rock and blues guitarist Steve Stefanowicz. Joe has also collaborated on many projects with his longtime friend Everett James. Beside a good reach-out-and-smack-ya-across-the-face bass riff, Joe is also fond of motorcycles, good food, and of course, women…

AARON is a Seattle area native, but has spent much of his professional career on the east coast. He has also recorded for Anthony Hamilton, India Arie, Grammy Award Winning Producer Ken Lewis, Audible Mainframe, Bad Rabbits, and the Lifted Crew.
