Soul Tracks 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards

Bump Kitchen has been nominated in the category ‘Best Duo or Band’ by the readers of Soul Tracks. There are 20 nominations in each category, out of literally hundreds of bands. These are the world’s leading awards for independent soul artists. Over the next two weeks a committee of 2,000 artists and music industry professionals will select the top 7 finalists in each of these categories. Then later this month they will send personal ballots to all SoulTrackers who have signed up for their newsletter for the final vote. The winners will be named in a December SoulTracks broadcast.

Bump Kitchen Welcomes Aaron Dressler

We are very proud to welcome a new chef to the Kitchen, Mr. Aaron Dressler.

Aaron attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston and brings some serious chops to the sax chair. Aaron has shared the stage with the likes of Ryan Leslie, Usher, Brother Ali, Slick Rick, Guy Oscious from Sly and the Family Stone, James Carter among many others. He has also recorded for Anthony Hamilton, India Arie, Grammy Award Winning Producer Ken Lewis, Audible Mainframe, Bad Rabbits, and the Lifted Crew.
